Kyrgyzstan is situated in Central Asia , its neighbouring countries are Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the south and China to its East and South-East. The population of Kyrgyzstan is about 5 million inhabitants more than 50% are Kyrgizs, and Russians – 15%. The territory is 198,500 sq km.
