Meat imports into Ukraine decreased by 37 percent in 2011
Meat imports into Ukraine in 2011 decreased by 37 percent compared with the volumes imported in 2010.
In 2011 Ukraine imported 216,000 MT of meat, including pork – 83,000 MT, poultry – 60,800 MT, beef – 3,200 MT, according to the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business.
At the same time, in 2011 Ukraine exported 80,500 MT of meat, including pork – 12,500 MT, poultry – 50,000 MT, beef – 18,000 MT.
As a reminder, in 2010 Ukraine imported 342,100 MT of meat, including beef – 11,900 MT, pork – 179,800 MT and poultry – 150,400 MT.
